A beginning

A new year means I should make an effort and attempt to produce the music that I feel that I can make. I believe I've learnt what I'm doing wrong. My answer is to buy more software, but I believe that it plugs the holes in my music.

So what type of music do I attempt to make? Ambient mainly, with a habit of tending towards the spacemusic side of things. My tools of choice are Logic Pro and I've just sold my sole to Native Instruments in order to get a couple of their very nice plugins. Hopefully they'll be able to make the noises that I need in order to get my ideas across.

Then there's the podcast question. Could I talk about the process in a way that is interesting to anybody else? I'm not sure.

Next up, what's up with the Podshow VIP labels? What is the difference between blue and red? Is it as simple as if you're in Europe or the US? Also what's this whole VIP thing? Does everybody get that or do you have to be special?

Anyway, time to create. When it arrives I'll write something using FM8 and see what it enables me to do. If there's something good that comes from it then I'll post it.
