The 50th San Franciscio International Film Festival is now accepting submissions for its Pocket Cinema program, which is digital works made by or for mobile devices that engage the theme, San Francisco. We're looking for works of any genre or form that meet one or more of the following conditions: 1) work made by mobile devices 2) work intended to be viewed solely on mobile devices 3) work that uses wireless signals as a new asthetic medium
Works must be no longer than 7 minutes.
The deadline os March 23, 2007. Selectons will be presented in the Pocket Cinema at SFIFF 50. Depending on the range of works and their types, this program may be presented in a traditional movie theater screening, served to mobile devices via wirerless service, via Bluetooth download, on the Web, or through a combination of these methods.
