While I was furiously helping Mark on the scripts before production, I had no idea which character Matt would assign to me. I was very pleased to learn I could play Leonard Faire, the rickety old pastor in the town and father to Jacob Faire, Sienna's love interest. Although you might be interested to know that in the first episode, in which Leonard goes on at some length about the history of Shadow Falls, I nearly passed out! Working Leonard's voice requires quite a tightening of the vocal chords, as well as pushing a lot of air up into the higher register. The monologue about the scary history of the town was quite long, and I began to feel light-headed. Luckily, I stayed conscious, and nobody...until now...even knew what the hell was happening.
