Contest: Win a free iPod!

As you heard on BUCKET Episode 56, we are running a contest with a grand prize of an iPod! Below are the rules to follow in order to win one of the great prizes we're offering here.

First some information on the awards. The Podcast Awards can be found at http://podcastawards.com. There are 22 categories with 7 - 10 nominees in each. Voting on these awards begins at 12:01 AM on Saturday July 28th and ends on 11:59 PM on Saturday August 11th. You may vote once per person per day for the 15 days of the contest.

How to win:

1. Vote in the awards at http://podcastawards.com. We hope you'll vote in all the categories, but to be eligible you must vote in the Comedy category. And although we do hope you'll vote for BUCKET, it is not mandatory to participate in or win this contest.
2. Check the email account you use for voting. Confirm your vote by clicking the link in the email from the Podcast Awards.
3. Only after confirming your vote, forward that confirmation email to ivotedforbucket@gmail.com. This is your entry into the contest.
4. Each person may vote in the Podcast Awards once per day. This means each person can potentially have up to 15 entries in the contest which equals 15 chances to win any of our excellent prizes.

Prizes will be given away in the following manner:
- All winners will be randomly chosen by number generation.
- All valid confirmation emails with a vote in the Comedy category will be counted as entries. You need not vote for BUCKET (although we sure hope you do) to be entered or to win a prize.
- On August 4th the following prizes will be awarded: 1 classic BUCKET tshirt, 1 PNME 2007 BUCKET tshirt, Headphone splitter, and Silicone video iPod case. You must vote in the first week to be eligible for these prizes. Winner of the prizes awarded at this time are STILL ELIGIBLE for the remaining prizes including the grand prize.
- Final winners will be selected on Monday August 13th. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on Sunday August 12th to be eligible for the final prizes.

Just as Corey and I were about to record last night, my whole neighborhood lost power. Corey and I talked it over and can only assume it was an act of God against BUCKET.

 

Luckily, we thumb our noses at such editorial comments and will not be deterred. BUCKET will go on! Your new show will be available on Friday morning. So sit tight just a little bit longer, and don't give up on us!

Due to technical and RL difficulties, the recording of BUCKET has been temporarily delayed. Do not panic. This is not an emergency. Our usual recording will resume the week of July 9th and an episode will be posted around mid-week.
