ok, so its no secret that i'm not a fan of california, but this is getting ridiculous. first off, i'm in disputes with a bank about a loan that....grrr...ok, moving on. so yesterday on the way home from work, chris had a flat tire about a block from our condo.  we called AAA and apparently our membership covers towing but not in the city of San Francisco nor does it cover motorcycle towing. great. so we paid a tow truck to wisk it away to the bike shop. then we received a lawyer letter from our previous landlord...not able to provide any details yet, but it should just be a phone call to straighten out. lets see, next, oh yes, there was the earthquake. a small one, but nonetheless, a bit strange. after that i received a phone call from barry in tennessee with a laweyr letter from a VERY MAJOR CORPORATION asking....well, more details later...that one should just take a little finesse to straighten out. but lets just say that they found my podcast!! thats awesome.
more details later...i know, you can't wait.

About Me, Your Fitness Attack Host!

I am from a small town in Indiana. I grew up enjoying the outdoors, theater and sports. I attended Purdue University and while there found the sport of rowing, my passion for dance and musical theater and my husband. I am very lucky to have experienced a college sport and at the same time have my directing debut. I graduated with a BS in Organizational Leadership and Supervision and found a job in banking. Realizing that I was not cut out for the 9-5 lifestyle, I began pursuing theater and dance a bit more seriously. This led to my first experience as a paid choreographer– I loved it!

I then left banking to dance in Chicago under a scholarship for the next 18 months. I was able to experience dance in many forms from so many wise and educated teachers and masters. I also found that I loved to dance but more importantly, I loved to choreograph. I also found a use for my business degree because my husband had started a screen printing company in our apartment while I was at dance school. He became busy and I became the operator. Due to additional job opportunities for my husband, we relocated to Nashville, TN and I continued to dance and run the printing company but also turned my interest in athletics into a personal training career. I received certifications from SDSU and Scirion Institute and really started applying my knowledge.

Nine months after the birth of Podcast Alley, my husband earned another opportunity in San Francisco. We are now here in sunny California and I am among some of the best personal trainers, gyms, health clubs and educators in the business. I have already added NASM and AFAA to my list of certifications. I am training full time and helping people understand health and fitness everyday. I feel fortunate to be able to bring in all my experiences in athletics and life to my program designs. They have all contributed in my success. We have intentions of moving back to Tennessee in a couple of years, but until that time we are experiencing things in a California way- which is unlike any other.
